生物活性

It was shown to inhibit microtubule assembly and induces microtubule disassembly in vitro. It exhibits antitumor activity. Maytansinol inhibits microtubule assembly. Maytansinol disrupts the mitotic spindle and prevents mitotic exit in Drosophila.
